Tons of wasted money spent. Love to know more about the first engine fiasco. Three things that jumped out.
1. No close-up pics or mention of the aftermarket front oil cooler. (A signature part on 69-72.)
2. Who in their right mind would replace alu S front calipers (another important S feature) with A calipers on a street car? (A track car? Of course.)
3. No pic of all of the original take out parts. (Unless I missed it.)
In all fairness the guys at Ottos are general car guys and don't specialize in vintage 911s but the shops that did the work should know better.

Frank there was a first engine fiasco? You have more patience and a better attention span than I....didn't get that far in the reading, but now I will take a 'look-see'. I LOVE engine stories....

Sorry for the LATE reply, I think it was very well bought! BAT is odd tho....At the end of the day, I'm happy to have sold it, altho for less than I originally wanted....

Yes, I can be a pretty crabby old guy (but that's why you like me). Virtually zero comments on this car other than how it's the "creme-de-la-creme" of restorations. I wonder if it will go over 4200rpm (based on driving video).
A few shots... love the panel fit on the right front quarter (circled/highlighted), and a comparison to my red 67S that Dave did. Can't put rubber between the bumper and body if it won't fit....
Nice pile of parts in a parking lot... original 67S front bumper and rear bumper deco (go with the car, or drop them on ebay??) why would you want to put those back on the car?
The one nit pick (early in comments) was that the seat belt attachment point should have a plastic cover on it, pretty sad as the car appears to have original Teka seat belts that wouldn't have any cover.
I'm going down to my basement and package some parts to ship.
Reminiscing the old days,.. only brings more regret...
well, some interesting comments on BAT….
whats your opinion where it should go to…?
Where it should go to as far as a new owner? Or price-wise?
Cleary, this should do well. So many of us have respect for, and fond memories of, Cris that I'm betting someone who knew him and/or the car will step up. I'll certainly be watching. You never know. Maybe a 3rd 69S wouldn't be so bad in my garage...
