Special Note...
For the undercoat body cutoff line on the1968 911L Taga. I have a piece of 1968 911 L coupe rocker with original green paint and brushed on black undercoating. (Disregard the white stuff. That was from dialing in my gun).
The factory cut it off approximately 80 mm below the door threshold.
So, even though the 1967 had different rocker decos it was undercoated the same way as the large deco 1968 "S" and "L"
When i did mine i knew it was going to be covered by the deco so i just randomly taped it off. Obviously, it will not be seen...Last edited by bob joyce; 09-08-2022, 02:05 PM.

I've been chasing a no spark issue. Coil is getting 9V but nothing out of the distributor. My guess is that the issue is a bad capacitor. Multimeter seems to confirm this. My understanding of the electrical system is basic at this point. I tried putting the spark plug tester between the coil and distributor but it didn't light up. My hope is that that line doesn't have enough current to light up the tester. Anyway in the process of rebuilding the distributor.
