  • Garage and office pics please!!

This was a good thread. The old pic is what "was" my former office. The new pic is the garage I'm going to, and will be moving most of the stuff across plus the office and all the "stuff".

Please note the Early 911 Registry banner!!! The new garage pic is a panorama pic, so it's not quite as big as it seems. I'll get 3 cars in there... no plans for a lift yet as I don't know quite where it would go... and then these days the lifts are so big they take up too much space.

Let's see what you have! Any small lifts for car storage??

I have a recurring fantasy that I get locked in your office during a severe snow storm and I'm forced to search through every nook and cranny to ensure my survival. Nothing good in there at all from the looks of it!

Here's one of my very disorganized buildings.

Thanks! That's my dad's original hand painted business sign, I'm guessing 1963, it's 16ft long.

Hey JP, that beetle in that coral color is stunning, one of my lifelong favorites. I have a pic I will find that's from 1957 (or so) from Stockholm with that car in it.

            JP,
Your garage is stuff of dreams for me. Looks like a Golden Green Targa back there. I only have a 2 car garage, so I rent a 20X40 space. Some long hood reading material in the TV room.
Oh, sorry for the other banner.

Ok, I managed to get the some of the seats on shelving... and a fair amount of the parts that are "day to day" as well (at least on "this" wall). Most of the office stuff still has yet to come over.

The silver car (Euro 1968 911L) finally came out of a trailer after being there for years. It's one my dad imported for a customer back in 1968, it's 1 of 25 built. Specs are Sport kit 1 and 2, and the engine is the 901/30 (still with the car) engine that has it's own thread elsewhere. These cars were on the rally curcuit in Europe and were in the Trans-Am series on this side of the pond. I think 13 cars are still known to exist from the run, and 7 or 8 still have their original engine. One of the pics below is my dad with the car and the customer on the docks up in Vancouver BC.

              Cheers,
E Click image for larger version
