  • How do you price something that's really rare?

    It's just a general question, but it pertains to a few parts truly not available almost anywhere. I see some parts available from a well-known member on the other site, and the prices are staggering, but truly the item is only offered there... though it might be available if someone reaches out on one of the boards and asks for the part.

    Beck started that thread on the other forum, "seriously", and that thread may be where all of this ends up going.

    I ask, as I have some items that truly are very difficult to find, and I get inquiries about whether I know where they can be found.... and I refer them to other places or people that "might" have or know someone who does have a part. In a couple of cases now, I do have what I consinder "excess" parts of a few things, but how to price?

    I guess not a first world problem, but just curious. A couple of pics just for fun.
