While appropriate to prevent others from touching the painted surfaces on the car, can’t seem to resist the urge to caress this one.... Looks beautiful!

good thinking.... i actually thought about putting some bug spray in the air and immediately decided not to because i worried about contamination.
now that i am just using water everything is back to normal.
the reason i tried soap was partially because my squeegee was leaving black smudge marks on the white paint.
thanks for your suggestion, it was a prescient thought.

ID:	4690 Yes , thats the begining of a creek and designated preserve.I had a deer eating in my front yard for an hour or so the other late afternoon. I let the voluntiring plants grow in my yard. i dont plant anything.
I have found that if i shoot in the morning there are "no"bugs . Also i leave all of the lights off as i prepair to shoot and as soon as i finish shooting turn them off.
If bugs stay away for about 20 minutes im in the clear.
I have been lucky so far and have not had to mitigate mosquitoes during my working hours. They do come out after i stop working.
Here is the view from my front door.
looking in this direction, the next house would be about 1/2 mile away.

Thanks Bob, I'll check it out. I tried to place them exactly where the dirt marks were. Door operates smoothly and door is flush with qpanel, but i'll verify.

does this door open and close smoothly and is the door flush with q panel ?
i ask because the striker should be vertical. Yours is 12;30 or so.
and the pointer should line up with the bump.
it looks to me that if you did that. The door would still be flush with Q panel but the mechanism would work as designed.

Yesterday I took 150 Mile run to clear most of my March fuel out and get some fresh fuel in. Did an unusual run east to Lockhart and instead of heading north towards Austin, went south to make a circle back to San Antonio. Nice roads, 100 degrees first and then caught a couple of strong rain showers on the way back. Car ran like a top.
Today I finally got around to changing out the door strikers that had the plastic breaking out.
Simple and quick job. Then I took lunch from Rudys Barbecue to the guys at Jones Autowerkes who got my A/C leak taken care of on Monday.
