Porsche say its business model no longer works makes me concerned yet curious. It suggests major industry shifts, possibly electric transition or market pressures. I wonder how they will adapt, innovate, and maintain their luxury performance identity in a changing automotive landscape. apna khata

Porsche’s statement signals a shifting automotive landscape where traditional luxury and combustion-focused strategies face pressure from electrification, competition, and costs. Adapting quickly through innovation, pricing, and market positioning will be crucial for sustaining its iconic brand and long-term profitability.apna Khata

Every Porsche Classic part I've bought (maybe 3 or 4) was junk. I paid Porsche prices for four letter word quality.

Porsche "Our business model no longer works"

This article has popped up in a few places a couple of days ago. Can't find a "clean" read, but here's one in case you haven't had a chance to read it.

Concerns for us would be any cutbacks to the "Classic" department in terms of parts development for our cars, event support, and presentations at various venues such as Essen.

How costly "Classic" is to the company overall, and if it carries it's weight is uncertain. And while the parts dept can be easily ascertained, the costs of the intangibles probably not....
