I refer to my car as a 912 Super. What's that? A 912 with a air cooled flat four overhead cam engine. These days it could be a Polopolus (POLO), early Beck, as in Emory's son in laws 912, or a Emory-Rothsport powered 912.
My car is the first of the breed. It is also as far as I can tell, the first of this engine type to get full engine management. It's a 2.4 liter based on 993 3.6 liter parts. It makes about 190ish sea level hp. I'm currently building number 4 for a member on this site. It's a 2.7 liter. I'm guessing 210 to 220 hp. There are 2cam4 engines, as I refer to them now in the 230 to 260 hp range. Time and technology move on.
Here are some pictures. I'll do another post on the #4 car later.
