Well, I'm out on the bidding for the Polo Red '66. I am still interested in a parts car, if you have anything you'd like to sell.

        The 66 sold for $ 25,911
it is a very solid old 911 that won’t need much metal work.

what kind of parts car do you need?

This is what I'm working on: https://early911registry.com/forums/...w-member-intro

I'm in metro Atlanta. I was looking for a parts car that would be a good reference car while replacing sheetmetal and/or have decent interior. The Polo car looked to be a nice shell to learn from. WY is a beautiful state and I needed an excuse to go back for another visit ;-)

My partner was interested in the hot rod/rat rod angle after we're done.

Yes, looking for SWB. My focus is to restore the Irish Green '66 car. The 912 rollers are of interest and may better match my budget. Plan is to buy floors, suspension pan, rockers, tunnel patch pieces, rr seat sections, etc. I would like a reference car for measurement, and to study the build techniques, welds, joints, etc. I'm not new to old German car restoration (see my tii in Other Cars: https://early911registry.com/forums/...my-old-2002tii ), just Porsche's. My partner is an old-car artist with any welder and an english wheel and we're in good shape money-wise on this no-hit matching numbers car.

                Thanks for replying
