Are you looking for sport seats or comfort seat application?

Tom, after you get yours I'd be interested in buying a second one from someone. I need a driver side for a sport seat application.

They're the same for sport and standard seat in the 72-73. And completely different from 69-71.

I may have an orphan driver side. Can someone remind me which side is which so I don't have to drive out to my shop and start looking at cars?

And are you guys looking for the smooth plastic, 72-style receiver? Or the textured plastic, 73-style?

Here is the passenger side. I would take smooth or textured finish, prefer textured to match this one. Click image for larger version

I'm still looking. I also need three of the four mounting bolts (the really short ones) and the spring washers. I removed all this stuff before I dropped off the seats for repair, but I have misplaced it. So, I'm feeling foolish as well as needy.

Tom, don't feel bad; I suspect your feeling of foolishness comes from being a British Leyland mechanic, not from losing parts. Although both are related.

I have some NOS receptacles but not likely to let them go unless you've got a very shiny object to trade. However I will look for a used driver's side when time allows. I'm feeling a bit emotional and generous toward the early pioneers on this site.

                          Thanks, Frank.

The story of British Leyland is a sad one. I worked in a dealership at around the time the government took over the company, which made things even worse, no surprise.
