  • WTB: MFI Pump Mount 901.110.027.00

    All,

I'm looking for an MFI Pump mount for a 69-73 car with the part number: 901 110 027 00. Its the base / mounting plate that goes under the engine mounted MFI pump on top of the engine.

If you've got a spare laying around you don't need please let me know. My box of parts doesn't seem to have one of these....

    Well,

I obviously can't read. Can a mod move this to the correct forum for me?

Seb, thanks for the link. That one might work but it looks slightly different than the one Rusty has on his 2.2S motor.

Maybe there was an updated part for ‘74 and later MFI cars?

Not cheap, but has correct part number...

        or

or even more expensive for ST / RSR

or, cheaper, but no photo... says it is genuine Porsche???

I’ll order the ECS tuning part and see if it works. I’d seen the others in the links provided but $250+ for a mount seemed a bit steep to me. Guess that’s the price you pay….

I wonder how many of those got thrown away changing to carbs over the years? Hope it works, price seems a bit more palatable for what it is... Let us know!

                Nick,

I’d appreciate you checking for me but I’m not Dave. I think I probably need to change my screen name….?

If you’re in the US and have the part please let me know. I think shipping from Europe may be a little high otherwise.

Sorry Greg. Mistaken identity; Stretch is Dave O’Connor in the UK, you’ve got a 32 tacked on. I’m located near San Diego, Ca. Nick

                    No worries. It happens occasionally.

Oddly, I got for another PM today asking how to ship fire extinguishers in Europe :-)

I bought my ST harnesses from Dave and he’s a good guy to work with.

If you have an original MFI base please let me know. I did order one from one of the links but I’m not sure if it’s what I need.

That's the electric fuel pump mount. He's looking for the MFI pump to engine mount.

Stretch32, This is insane. Common part. Fax me $200 or a gift card to Total Wine and More and I'll dig one out and ship it to you.

                            Frank,

                            Thanks for the offer.

I ordered one from one of the links that’s supposedly a Porsche part (maybe Porsche Classic?). It should be here in a few days but, if it won’t work, I’ll take you up on your offer.

                            More to follow.
