Anyone know a good person to go to?

Try Joris. He used to restore 356 stalks and switches. If not he probably knows who does. There is a guy, can't pull the name but he does 900 switches and has a long wait time. That's all I know.

I used Doug Feistamel at www.type356a.com to restore my '72 turn signal and wiper column switches. It took about 7 months from initial contact to receiving the restored switches, but he did a really nice job. I highly recommend him.

It isn't cheap (I don't want to quote a price), and the lead time is very long (months) as Rick notes above. After you make contact, he will put you on his list and he will contact you when he is willing to accept your switches which might be months before you hear from him to send them in. Yes, as has been said above, he does a beautiful job.
