After many tries I found an outstanding chrome shop a few years ago. He actually fulfilled all three variables rather than the usual two: good turnaround, good pricing and good quality. Unfortunately he just retired. I found another shop that has good pricing and good quality but their turnaround is impossible. I really need good turnaround and I need pricing and quality a notch or two below the Queen City and Christensen level as I do very little chroming. I use the plating shop mainly to prepare reflectors for the vapor deposited aluminum process so all they have to do is take them through the nickel plating level. I would appreciate any recommendations that you might have. Has anyone ever used a shop in Mexico?
