  • Fed compliance sticker

Where should one go for a good reproduction fed compliance sticker for a 73? Most that I see look bogus, e.g., too thick.

        Yes, like that.

How is Car Bone vs. Decal Restore? The buzz on The Other Place is that Decal Restore is the bomb.

Never used DR. Used Carbone probably 10 times and always happy.

Here is an original from 6/73. The font is crisper, the embossed anti-tamper circles stand out more. This is nearly a year after yours, so that might account for differences.

I think the circles on yours look that way due to age. Which font is crisper??

The font on the original looks crisper. But that is not as evident in the photos, so the difference may be imagined. Good point about the effect of age on the embossed circles.

                Thanks for your input, JP.

Just get your butt into the car and come visit Austin. Then we can compare in person.

Tom, 99% sure I have an extra '73 decal from this car as I ordered one incorrectly. I'll drop it in the mail so you can evaluate in person.

Thank you, JP, and thank you for the invite. I don't have AC in my car, so a drive across the Southwest might not be a great idea at the moment.
