  • Correct mounting tabs for 4-screw horn grilles?

Both of my '65 cars (301100 and 301331) are getting new fenders so my metal guy is doing the work to make them correct. Obviously, we need to add tabs for the 4-screw grilles. Can anyone confirm what the tabs looked like? Were they similar to 2-screw SWB grills that used a clip? Or just plain metal tabs with a hole for sheet metal screws?

Here are the tabs to an original 66 fender I sold a while back.

I think it also used the metal clips for each corner.

Mine were just plain metal tabs.

Sheet metal screws? Or were the holes in the tabs threaded?

          And welcome!

They were/are just sheet metal screws, fwiw fenders are the original numbered items.

            Thanks JP

Thanks, Chris. And thanks for the photo, Anthony. You've both confirmed my suspicions.
