This muffler came with the car, a '71T. Have never heard what it sounds like either. Wondering what the manufacture is and can tell you, it is heavy. Is the OE muffler heavy as well? Thanks.

Yes it's an Ansa and my 70 had the same muffler installed when I bought it.. I couldn't give mine away except to a dumpster. You're right,, heavy! The factory Leistritz is lighter than that beast.
