  • Mounting 139's with top/bottom mounts on a 911

Hella 139/169 fog lights were use on the LWB longhoods. They are made in two configurations, with back mounts and with top/bottom mounts. Porsche used the ones with back mounts. The other ones were used primarily by Mercedes and Lamborghini. The back mounts are expensive (around $1,000) and usually hard to find while the top/bottom mounts are less expensive (around $500) and abundant. Having spent most of my life around computers and Porsches one thing that I have learned is that there is always a workaround.

Has anyone had any experience mounting the top/bottom 139's on a 911?

If you have been able to do that successfully please let us know how you did it.

    Thanks,
    John

I sold my 139s with the knowledge that Eric Linden would be reproducing them soon.

I've never seen a set of the non-Porsche lights mounted on one of our cars. Would be curious to see the results if someone's done it.
