  • A place to show and tell about your other Porsche

I refer to my car as a 912 Super. What's that? A 912 with a air cooled flat four overhead cam engine. These days it could be a Polopolus (POLO), early Beck, as in Emory's son in laws 912, or a Emory-Rothsport powered 912.
My car is the first of the breed. It is also as far as I can tell, the first of this engine type to get full engine management. It's a 2.4 liter based on 993 3.6 liter parts. It makes about 190ish sea level hp. I'm currently building number 4 for a member on this site. It's a 2.7 liter. I'm guessing 210 to 220 hp. There are 2cam4 engines, as I refer to them now in the 230 to 260 hp range. Time and technology move on.
Here are some pictures. I'll do another post on the #4 car later.

On 9/22 the car will get a Bring A Trailer photo/video session. Over the last two weeks the car got sticky new tires, plaid replaced, and some other stuff.
Here are two pictures from the Morgan Adams charity event that they sent me. This was on the Denver POLO grounds, which is actually south of Denver. Very fitting. Thanks Ben.
I had Rory who does photo work for Bring A Trailer spend 3 or 4 hours at my shop. Eric Linden had Rory shoot his Red 67 911S SWT and recommended him. So I asked for him to do the shoot. He shot 125 plus pictures under the car and many of the engine compartment. Then he did a cold start video. It was raining outside so we'll have to wait a day or two to shoot the inside, outside, and a video of the car on the road. The QR works.

ID:	275 The first picture is of Rory shooting pictures for the bring A Trailer listing. After this we went up Golden Gate Canyon near my shop in Golden Colorado. Then on to a side road up there that has very low traffic. It took him two days and over 400 pictures. The second is of a small fire station in the canyon. I suspect it's still two plus weeks for the listing to post.
