Now, after being on the front fixture since 2018...........
Bolted up the suspension carrier and other parts to see what bolts i need to replace and also gather up the parts.............

After the undercoated padding dried somewhat .... i took a roller and flattened it out.........

Thanks JP,! Digging deeper I found a great publication from Design911 UK on Door pocket repair, with pics. Now I know what parts I'm missing. Add them to the list.

The previous owner must have had issues, as they had the pockets screwed shut. Inside of the wall is damaged, with parts missing.

Working on recovering my '70 door pockets, to a mostly original style, with a little RS added. Looking for ideas to secure the under armrest pocket. I'm thinking trunk carpet snap, any comments?

I'm not following. Why not use the factory bracket?

301100 off the Celette and back on the rotisserie as we get ready for undercoating.

to simulate the 1967 horsehair floor material ( have to believe the 1968 was treated the same way)
i sprayed multiple layers od rubber undercoat material on the padding matterial............

I left the raised perimeters because I will place a 10mm pad on top and this will level the floor (instead of the materials "ramping" up on the perimeters)

You heated it up .....toseed it into the air and caught it on your knogen...........

you have to have a VERY hot heat gun and heat it until it is totally melted.
then you can place it and the outer felt surface allows you to smooth it out
When done properly it is TOTALY bonded to the surface...
Special Note: heating the felt side does not produce good results. You have to totally melt the surface that is being placed down.

a pizza oven works best for heating this stuff up
