I had a chance to view Frank's #11 901 today. It's the oldest of the 4 901's I've personally viewed. It's in very good hands. I'm sure he'll be pleased when he gets it back.

the heat shrink tube in picture is Dorman 8' -2,4m 5/16 shrink to 5/32
I am not satisfied with the grayish color so i am going to follow Chris lead and go to 3/8 shiny black pvc instead from YNZ
Special Note .. The ends are extra long to be folded back inside when the hangers are closed

I've used shrink tubing in the past, just wondering if there was a better alternative. Kroon ones are nice and probably there are better uses for my time.

I made mine like Bob has done. If I remember correctly I bought the material here. https://www.ynzyesterdaysparts.com/
They make a very nice quality wire harness also.

I know Kroon makes the correct covering for the wire hangers.

Is it possible that red interior cars all dad this red "sock'?

i think they used whatever they had laying around--have seen this thingie in black, yellow and grey...never in red though. the same goes for the leatherette they glued to the underside of the dash top section in order to eliminate squeezing.
