Got sidetracked by a 356, and the body shop had their own work. Trying to paint it this year though..

That’s a pretty good scuff in the crank. .25 mm is first cut. I don’t know if that will clean it up. You need to take it to a machine shop that can measure and evaluate the damage.
‘Bearings for a reground crank are more expensive than standard,but in the world today finding a good used standard crank is not cheap. Typically 1600-2500 dollars.
if first cut can be limited to .25mm than that would be the way to go expense wise. The machine shop needs to be experienced Porsche work. Also dig down to see what caused the failure. Oil starvation is a big cause.

First magnaflux, if it passes that go for first under, if it cleans up at that, then journals must be re hardened since you have now cut thru the surface hardness. There is nothing wrong with a crack checked, recut , re hardened crank, except the costlier bearings, but you're only likely to have to do that once !
