    how are the options for the early engine lid rubber?
    is the pfaffenhausen one the only source?

    not the only source but the other sells the same product....years ago (prior ruf had them for sale) someone on the "ivory" forum mentioned that IM sells this strip but when i asked them about it , it felt like as if they think that i`m a bit loco

                    According to Brett Johnson, lid-mounted seal was replaced at 300 416, February 65. Not sure, but the early seal looks to have same profile as 2-piece engine compartment seal - 911-504-115-02 and 111-02. I'm sure I have a trim piece hanging around if someone wants it to compare with original.
