John, I respect your opinion (unless it’s about a 928. ) so have to ask: Who cares about ego and background noise as long as he makes a big dent in the current freedom-ransacking blue agenda?

I mis-spoke. It's not personality, it's ego. Someone with that much money and power needs to have at least a small bit of humility. I doubt that Musk is a person of faith which leaves it open for him to be a god, which seems to be rapidly developing. Very, very dangerous. Just another explosive bit in today's dangerous world. Ego does not solve problems, it inflames them. Putin has a huge ego and big buttons. Intelligent compassionate humility solves problems, at least that's what one big guy with a small mouth taught. I realize that is hard to practice when battle lines are forming and egos are squaring off.

If one does not put their faith in a God who actually has sovereign power and jurisdiction, they most certainly will attempt to be their own god. I see no problem with Musk as he's very predictable. He practices self-idolatry which is the norm in this world. If someone in this position comes across "with humility" that's unexpected but probably self-serving.

And there-in lies one of the central problems in the world. As for self-serving, I heard that a popular strategy among politicians is to practice acting sincere. If you can fake that you've got it made. Maybe the same applies to humility.
