    An "act of love"
Just like the BLM riots were "mostly peaceful" and the nonsense in Seattle with CHAZ/CHOP was a "Summer of Love."

    Unreal.

These are some very SICK people ....

Growing up my mother used to frequently admonish me with the phrase "That's not kind".

I evidently missed the memo that said there was a rule change and now you must belittle those who disagree with you. It's always the case that the enemy is considered sub-human and/or evil in a war. So I suppose belittling folks is a necessary cultural setting as many in this country sharpen their swords - or buy drum magazines for their AK47's. We don't have to have blind respect for things we used to respect, but it would be nice to maintain a level of civility. There would be no winners in a civil war. And most fights begin with little things that escalate, such as making fun of someone.

          Again political leanings, cloud reasoning,

The link I sent was simply an affirmation that sadly our country is being led by a man with the inability to focus, think or operate without prompting. He could easily be a republican as Regan in his last year in office, suffering from onset dementia, or Wilson after his debilitating stroke. Neither was able to function as the leader of the Free World. Quite frankly it's delusional to think Biden could lead us in the threat of a serious international conflict or a nuclear war.. The photo of Biden's ' prompt card' is not a laughing matter for all the citizens of this country, it deadly serious! To think otherwise, is delusional!

As for your reference to " large drum magazines / AK47's or Joe Rohan's guest is completely beyond the pale and simply a diversion from the fact of Biden's inabilities. A more factual, cogent argument would support your thoughts. It might surprise you to know who I voted for.

Do not mark me down as Blue or Red. At 78 years old I subscribe to NO political or religious or cultural ideology completely, so I haven't been able to find any broad-brush labels that apply. I really, really prefer to think for myself. One thing I believe in is that you often find more truth in small things than large things. Such as grown men acting like frat boys belittling the president of the world's largest democracy, including the host who otherwise presents himself as an intelligent and reasonable man. Also I'm afraid that the act of passing along idiot propaganda doesn't contribute to understanding or civility.

Ok Frank, you seem to have glossed over 90% of my post. The part where we protect and care for our children planned or unplanned. Surely the state can cover decent healthcare and education for the children. The strictest states don't even want to teach adolescents sex education. Lots of protections until you are actually born, then you are on your own. Mothers could certainly benefit from a few months off after birth like most other first world countries.

Interesting that you reference 'States' that don't want to teach sex education ...that is precisely what was the weakness in Row v Wade, those issues, under our constitution gives the States jurisdiction. The X Amendment reads" The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectfully, or to the people" If the Nation wants children's health care, and extended family leave for carving for new norns, we should collapse the US Dept of Education returning that function to the States. The savings would fund the start to reaching the goals of child care and family leave. ( The Dept of Ed was a 'gift to the teachers union by Carter to secure their support in the '80 election.)

              i am a Dumbacrat.
When i was 6 years old i had a private conversation with my neighbor friend whose mother was the cub scout leader.
He asked me if i believed in God and i said "just the same as Santa Claus"
He told his mother and i was kicked out of the the group.
That was not enough for the lady so she told my other neighborhood friend's mothers and when we would go over to their house to play the mothers would say "one too many, you can't come in".... This went on for a couple of years...
Then when i was about 12 years old or so. They showed on tv young girls being turned away from school.
It was clear to me what "side" was the right side to be on..... even though my parents vehemently disagreed with me..
I was kicked out of high school for having long hair , even though i never cut school smoked cigarettes and was the captain of the cross country team and represented the school in the track Decathalon ( the principle and PE teachers got the football players and others to jump people with long hair and cut it off. about 10 of them one with scissors, jumped me at lunch time. I fought them off and they ran away. There hearts were not in it because i had played sports with then all my life....AND... in about 2 years they all had hair like mine....)
The principle wore a John Birch Society lapel pin.
So i grew up 10 miles north of Berkeley Campus... Would play there all the time and had meet -ups with the Hobbie skateboard team. Not to mention sneaking in to the frat party's when i was 16...
So when i became voting age i felt that i need to help the "good guys" get in office.
I volunteered to sign up people to vote and worked in a voting site.
The reason i say i am a Dumbacrat is because i was shocked and eventually gave up on what i refer to as dipshit Berkley Democrats.
They would come to vote and say there is no way i want so and so to win so i will vote peace and freedom/or some other.
I would tell them that that means they are letting so and so to win and they would say "no way he will win"
Well we all know what happened decade after decade.

Bob, great quote. Directly out of the left’s playbook. Especially on the abortion issue. Dem’s do not “care” about women, at all. This is a lie when they say they do. They certainly don’t care about babies either. Abortion is not a “health” issue, another lie. It’s a moral issue. Democrats out of your era (which is my era too) bear NO resemblance to the socialists that are today’s dems. UNLESS they continue to support the party line. I’m not naïve enough to believe that the repubes are that much better, or Indy’s as well but the majority of the right are more on track in regards to how evil abortion is. I’d encourage all here to watch a compelling movie called “Unplanned” by a gal (Abbey Johnson) that was one of Planned Parenthood’s (WHAT an oxymoron) highest volume earners (ie: abortion mill) for years. Exposes them for what they truly are.

Apologies to Frank for straying off topic. Trying to course correct here.

I will state that you and your families experience over the Scout’s issue sucked and was wrong on SO many fronts. There’s a difference between people that “call” themselves Christians and those that just love and follow God and try to love others (the great commandment).

you are correct on your assessment.
the Berkley dipshits snap their fingers and say "hey let's let a 50-year-old male who says he is feeling a little feminine use the women's bathrooms" and the old guard Democrats say "let us work on this"

I couldn't care less if Jesus was real or fabricated. Metaphors are powerful. An exemplar for kindness and love is nice to have and the concept of Jesus works for me.

There's more of me out here than I'm comfortable with and I sound holier than thou. I'm far from that so I'm going to shut up now.

Another perpspective on the RvW ruling.

I'm a conservative, but wishy washy on the abortion issue. If pushed, I consider myself pro-choice (with lots of restrictions) although if I had to make that decision in my personal life, I'm quite sure I'd be pro-life from an individual perspecitve. Nevertheless, I'm thrilled with the ruling overturning a terrible law. In my opinion, the bigger issue than abortion was the judicial overreach of a previous court manufacturing a constitional right out of whole cloth. Nothing scares me more than unelected judges creating laws rather than staying in their lane and letting congress do their jobs. Activist judges - ruling from either political side - are an atrocity we should all be concerned about.

                              John,

Where was your outrage when the mainstream (liberal) media constantly belittled 45? I think Brandon falling off his bike is really more sad than anything, his handlers shouldn't have even let him get on that bicycle in the first place.... I think why people poke fun at him is because the left continually portrays this picture-perfect view of him (that he's fit, competent, and coherent, etc.) But, at the end of the day, it's simply not true and the man CONTINUALLY displays that he is the complete OPPOSITE of what he is portrayed as. Couple that with the fact that a fair majority of Americans dislike him and his policies, makes his blunders quite laughable.
