The reason many on the left are so outraged over this decision is that we're steering toward a society that preys on children rather than prays for children. People find it perfectly normal and acceptable to murder the pre-born and sexually pervert the post-born. (No civilized society can continue on that trajectory.)

Pedophilia is now mainstream in the Democratic party and practiced openly in public schools and moderates are silent. Why is that? (Grooming 5 year-olds toward alternative sexual lifestyles is repugnant and perverse.)
How can those of you who voted for Dementia-stricken Biden and his puppet-master Ron Klein just sit on the sidelines without being outraged?
How is it that you believe a corrupt DOJ and FBI won't eventually impact you and your loved ones?

This will be my last post on this thread. I've been sitting at home with Covid and somewhat bored. I read a lot and have a lot of very strong opinions. On the previous post. Frank, I agree. I normally keep my opinions to myself other than to my wife and a few close like minded friends. Oh, and I'm the king of run on sentences and no paragraphs. I spend zero time on Facebook and don't have an account on any of the social media sites. I've never done what I did yesterday. The problem for me is, I liked it. I can tell for me this stuff is like giving a drink to someone with a drinking problem. I can see for me, if I got into social media it would lead me down a very dark path. I fight my nature to force myself to be collaborative not divisive. There's too much tension in our society these days, and I don't need to add to it.
To Bob, John and anyone else I might have offended. I apologize. To Doug, Frank and others I agree with, I love you, brothers. I think I'll stick to the cars we all love regardless of our beliefs and politics.
Just to make sure I've offend everyone here equally on both sides, you guys should get a POLO engine and get those huge lumps out of your cars. There just so butt heavy. Just kidding. A six is a beautiful thing for a coffee table.

I am always amazed at how freely "Cristians" are willing to hand out cruel and unusual punishment.
How many women a few days ago had a plan on how they would have a family. Their plans were based on the existing "rules"
Then, instantaneously the "rules changed. .... So, they deserved it????
I do not know the issue, i am obviously not a lawyer.
But.... would it not have been much fairer.... for all ....if they were to toss it out to make it effective 12 to 18 months or even 2 years out
That way the states could have had time to RATIONALY created new law.
and more importantly. The women have time to adjust to.

I grew up watching and reading Joseph Campbell which started a lifelong interest in ancient myths. It's really fun to gather a large number of dots from a variety of epochs and millennia and then think of ways that they might connect. I suspect that it caused me to be a difficult student in parochial schools though. I made the poor nuns heads spin more than once

Anyway, now that the doors are opened wide here and we have identified ourselves as a fully open minded group, I thought I would contribute a teaching from the Hindu culture ( over a billion followers worldwide ) that seems other worldly in it's description of the modern day world.

There is a long-term cycle with four stages, called yugas, and we are in the fourth and last one called Kali Yuga. In this stage there isone quarter virtue and three quarters sinfulness. It is the age of darkness and ignorance. People lack virtue. They become slaves to their passions. Society falls into disuse and people become liars and hypocrites. Knowledge is lost and scriptures are diminished. The environment is polluted causing a scarcity in food and water. Wealth is heavily diminished. Families become non-existent.

Fortunately...

The next cycle is Satya Yuga (also called Krita Yuga), the age of truth also called the Hindu Golden Age, the first and best yuga in a cycle. It is the age of truth and perfection. This yuga has no crime and all humans are kind and friendly. The Krita Yuga is so named because humans are long living, powerfully built, honest, youthful, vigorous, erudite and virtuous. All mankind can attain to supreme blessedness. There is no agriculture or mining since the earth yields those riches on its own. Weather is pleasant and everyone is happy. There is no disease, decrepitude, or fear of anything. Virtue reigns supreme. This yuga starts with humans having an average lifespan of 100,000 years and stature of 33'6".

Unfortunately, the four stages cover a span of 4,320,000 years and the current stage is scheduled to last another several hundred thousand years.

Look it up, interesting stuff.

But I’m perfectly fine agreeing to disagree peacefully.

The decision was a long time coming; righting a poor decision that was made half a century ago and should NOT have caught a mother in your pseudo scenario with her pants down. So to speak.

There are all kinds of circumstances surrounding pregnancy but the vast majority of those seeking abortions are simply because of sexual irresponsibility.
Please be honorable enough to answer this simple question: If we were living in a culture where it was legal to kill a baby outside of the womb (Let’s say 6 months old, healthy, and chubby.) would you be ok with a mother who didn’t want her life or future interrupted killing him/her?
